Robert John Quiney (born 20 August 1982 in Brighton, Victoria) is an Australian cricketer who is a member of the Victorian Bushrangers side. He is a Left Handed Higher Middle Order Batsman & Right Arm Medium Bowler.

During the 2007/08 season, Quiney has begun to hold down a position in all forms of the game, playing some important innings for Victoria, especially in the Ford Ranger Cup where he scored 89 not out off just 57 balls against New South Wales at the MCG followed by 78 runs off 95 balls and 65 of 76 against Tasmania in Hobart and Melbourne respectively. This hot form has lifted his career List A average above 40.

2010–11 season

Rob Quiney has started the 2010–11 cricket season in Australia brilliantly. In a Sheffield Shield game at the MCG against Tasmania Rob scored a half century in the first innings and then almost scored a match winning 102 which was his 3rd first class century, unfortunately this could not save Victoria from their first defeat in a Sheffield Shield match at the MCG for three years.
